The shampoo I'm using at the moment is from the manuku honey & mafura oil line from shea moisture (exclusively at Target). So far I've used it only once and the thing I love about it the most is the scent. It smells SO good and the scent lingers in my hair for a couple of days, that's something I never got with my last shampoo( I still love it though). It leaves my hair soft and shiny too. I'm looking forward to using it more because so far I'm in love with this shampoo.
Speaking of wonderful scents, this concealer from mychelle dermaceuticals that I've been trying smells really good too. The scent is fruity but not overpowering at all which is nice.

I wanted to show my little vitacost (link) & iherb (link) haul as well as share my first impressions of the products I bought. I received them about a week ago and so far I really like all of them. I should be receiving another product from iherb this week too. It's a concealer from mychelle that I've read good things about and am excited to try.
This smells just like chocolate, super yum!! The only thing bad about this is that it's rock hard. To use it I scrape some product from the top using my nail (which can get kinda messy) then I warm it between my fingers and apply it like that. This would be really good to mix with some oils like almond or coconut to make it easier to use.
Rosehip & argan oil. I mixed the oils together to use them as my daily facial oil. I use this combination in the morning and at night. They absorb into the skin really fast and don't leave my face feeling oily.
Peppermint Earthpaste. Finally, a toothpaste with no fluoride, no glycerin, and minimal ingredients. I love this toothpaste so much already! It leaves my teeth and mouth feeling SO clean and fresh.
Now a few food-related things I'm addicted to.....
Chocolate banana smoothies (1 banana, almond milk, cacao powder, & chia seeds)
Hot chocolate <3
I have been searching for the perfect natural deodorant for quite some time now. I've tried a few including Tom's, crystal rock deo, liquid crystal deo, and a few homemade versions but they either didn't work for me or gave me a horrible itchy rash. Then I came across Schmidt's and their overwhelmingly positive reviews so I ordered their Cedarwood+Juniper deodorant right away. I received it in the mail this week and let me just say that it smells amazing!
Ingredients:
shea butter, baking soda, arrowroot powder, cocoa seed butter, himalayan cedar essential oil, vitamin E, juniper essential oil, and hop extract.
The consistency is really creamy too, which i love! It comes with a little spatula and then you warm it up between your fingers and it applies very easily.
Unfortunately, on the second day of wearing this I noticed red patches in my armpits due to the baking soda. I stopped using it and have been applying coconut oil to get rid of the itchiness and redness. I read online that baking soda's pH is much different than our skin's so that can cause problems like rashes in some people. I would totally recommend trying this deodorant out if you're not sensitive to baking soda though because it smells really good. So...my search for a natural deodorant continues...
Update: I wear this deo occasionally because I love the way it smells and I found a little trick to get less irritation I rub on a layer of coconut oil & roman chamomile essential oil first then I put a small amount of this deodorant on.

I just so happened to be lounging around in a shirt that (kinda) matched my smoothie! Btw, it was way too cold outside for that light jacket. I guess this cold weather is a good sign because I would love some snow!
