Socialite top | Zara shorts, similar here | Lucky Brand shoes | Forever 21 bag | CLUSE la boheme rose gold watch | Pieces of Me 'dreamer' cuff bracelet | Ray-Ban sunglasses
Say hello to the comfiest top you'll be reaching for all throughout fall! I bought it from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because it looked so cozy and the price was too good to pass up (under $25). But to be honest I never expected to love it so much. Two things I love about it: the material is super soft and it fits oversized! I know it's been one of the top sellers so sizes/colors come in and out of stock but it's worth checking up on if you want it! Trust me, you do want it!
Another piece I'm loving and just recently added to my jewelry collection is this pieces of me cuff! It's no ordinary gold bracelet, it has a meaning behind it! Each bracelet is stamped with a unique symbol that represents a certain personality trait. Mine is called the 'dreamer' cuff bracelet. I've been wearing it every single day since I received it and it reminds me to never stop dreaming and turning my dreams into realities! With time and hard work, everything is possible!
Happy Monday loves!!

If you were to take a peek into my closet you would see a lot of basic pieces with a few trendier items mixed in there as well. It's no secret that I'm a lover of a good basic! This allows me to create a countless number of outfits with pieces that will take me season after season! These are the kinds of pieces that you want to invest in but let me just say you don't have to have a huge budget either! Companies like Grana and Everlane offer basic styles in good quality materials at lower price points! Take this Tibi silk cami for example, it's beautiful and I'm sure it's amazing but there's no way I'm spending that much on a cami right now! Well, I was able to find one almost identical in style from Grana, here, for less than half the price!
So today I'm reviewing two camis that I wear ALL the time! I bought them from an online store called Grana. Their philosophy is selling quality clothing for a lower price by cutting out the middlemen and shipping directly from their warehouse (in Hong Kong). I ordered two styles of silk camis that they offer, that way I could see which one I liked best. They offer free shipping over $75. I took advantage of this and I have to say it's surprisingly fast for coming all the way from Hong Kong! I believe I got my order in 2-3 days. Okay let's get on into my thoughts! (Stay tuned until the bottom of this post for a discount!)
Grana Silk Racerback Camisole | $45 | Size XS
This top has a round neck, I like it but I would prefer this style with a slight v neck instead! The size XS fit me perfectly! It's lined so you don't have to worry about it being see through which is amazing! It's made with from 'crepe de chine' and this material is soft but has a little texture to it. I bought it in the color 'off white' and I'm glad because white tends to look dingy over time but I won't have to worry about that with this color. I also plan to buy it in the black!
Grana V-Neck Camisole | $49 | Size XS
I think this cut is very flattering and I love that the v-neck is also in the back. The size XS fit me fine but I think the XXS would've fit me better. This style fits a lot looser compared the other one. Definitely consider sizing down in this one especially since it has a pretty deep v-neck! It's also double layered so that's a huge plus! The silk used in this one is called 'georgette satin' and I love it so much more than the other! This one feels smooth and silky to the touch. I'm planning to buy this in the black but the mulberry color is gorgeous as well!
How Do You Take Care of Them?
The instructions for both say dry clean only but I don't have time for that. I took the risk and hand washed them in room temperature water with a mild soap (I used Dr. Bronners.). Then I did a final rinse with diluted white vinegar (This is a trick I use on my silk pillowcases too!). Then I laid them on a towel to dry. They turned out just fine using this method! Another tip I have is to shake around the fabric - I believe it helps loosen up the fibers and makes it feel softer and gets rid of the stiffness. As for removing wrinkles, I've had success with this spray. I just tested it on an inside layer to make sure it wouldn't leave spots.
A tip I have when wearing these silk camis is wearing this bra underneath. This way you don't have bra straps showing anywhere! I also like wearing bralettes that way if it peeks through it's still cute!
Here are some photos of how I've worn them!
Camis like this are perfect to wear on their own right now during the summer but will go perfectly with chunky cardigans and scarves in the colder months!

Red Moto Jacket | AG Frayed Hem Denim | Leopard Heels | Grey Bag | Sugar Lip Balm | Tortoise Sunglasses
Hello loves! Today I'm sharing with you all how to create your very own product collage! When I first started making product/wishlist collages I had no idea what I was doing. They were very time consuming (and still are) but I loved creating them!! I taught myself how to make them by just googling specific things (like how to transform images) but I always wished I could find a post that told me EXACTLY how to make them. So keep reading if you want to learn how to create a product collage!
Before we get started, let's quickly talk about these items that are currently on my wishlist! These are all versatile pieces and can be worn now or in the upcoming months. Everyone needs a little leopard print in their life and these leo pumps are gorgeous (This pair is similar and on sale for under $100!). They have great reviews and the brand that makes them is known for their comfort! Wear them along with this red hot moto jacket and you've got yourself a killer outfit! Also, I've been wanting to try a pair of AG jeans and these are calling my name, did I mention that they're on sale too?! Lastly, crossbody bags have been everywhere lately! I found this little cutie in a neutral color (and under $50!) to carry only the essentials - like this Fresh rose lip balm (so creamy and so good!) and a pair of sunnies. My birthday will be here soon so I may have to treat myself to one or two of these haha :)

Back to the tutorial! First off, I edit all my photos and create my collages using Photoshop CC. It's a monthly subscription so it makes it very affordable! It can be overwhelming at first but with a little practice, it becomes so easy to use! I highly recommend it!
One: Gather your images.
Pick a theme for your collage and start saving your images onto your computer. I like to save them all to a folder in my computer called blog collages. This allows me to keep everything organized. Tip: If the website doesn't allow you to right click and save the image then just take a screenshot!
Two: Create a new file.
Once you open Photoshop click on the new file button. Here you'll pick the dimensions for your new blank file where all of your images will go. There's also the option to change the color of your background but it's best to keep it white.
Three: Open saved images.
Go to file > open > (or hit ctrl + o) then hold down your ctrl key and select all your images. Doing this will open up all your files at once and will save you time!

Four: Paste your images onto your blank canvas.
This is where the real fun begins! Now it's time to get all of your products onto your white background. There are many ways to do this part but I like using the quick selection tool because it allows me to be precise. You can change the size of this tool at the top and beside of that you'll also find a brush with a +\- sign. This allows you to add to your selection or subtract from it. Now that you've selected the product you want to hit ctrl + c. This will copy your selection. Then select your blank document from your list at the top and use ctrl + v to paste it on there.
Five: Stay organized.
You'll want to stay organized by naming each new layer (You create a new layer each time you paste.), especially when creating a collage with lots of products! On your right-hand side, you want to double click where it says layer 1 and rename it. This way, when you want to move around your leopard pumps you know exactly which layer to click on first.
Six: Transform and rearrange.
Use the transformation tool by holding down ctrl + t. This allows you to resize your image - but before you do that click on the maintain aspect ratio button at the very top. This keeps your image proportioned correctly. Hit enter once your done resizing! Then you can move your product around to where you want it. I wouldn't worry too much about this until you have all your products on your canvas. Until then simply repeat steps four through six.
Seven: Add text or numbers.
This step is completely optional but you can go in and number your products or give your collage a title. All you have to do is hit the type tool on the left side and click the area where you want the text. From here you'll pick your favorite font and size and hit enter once you're done. I've included some of my favorite free fonts down below! Just click on the link and it'll take you to the download page.
Arcane | Bakery | Raleway | Savu | Sortdecai | Sweet Pea
Eight: Save your collage!
By now you've added so many layers to your document and you're going to want to merge them! Once you're happy with how it all looks just right click on the background layer and hit merge visible. This also turns your file from a PSD to a JPEG but just double check it's a JPEG before saving! Now hit ctrl + s to save your file and name it!

Grana silk cami, similar here & here | Zara jeans | Lucky Brand perforated booties (also come in tan!) | CLUSE watch | Westward Leaning sunglasses | Kendra Scott necklace & earrings
One of my favorite areas for taking my blog photos is downtown. I love going on walks and searching for our next go-to photo spot. A comfortable pair of booties is a must for days like this. Thank goodness I found these perforated peep toe booties! I've been obsessed with them because they're so comfortable! Every time my boyfriend and I are going out I reach for these. Another piece on major repeat are these Zara jeans. If you're looking for a good pair of affordable yet on trend denim, check there!

Happy Monday loves!
Hey loves! Today I got my first order in from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I tried them on and took some quick pictures to show you guys the fit. I'll also be sharing my thoughts on each piece and sizing info too. There are three more items that I ordered but are still processing or went out of stock when my order was processed (I'll share those at the end of this post if you're curious!).
It's really easy to get carried away and want to add everything to your cart but I narrowed it down to only basics. In my opinion, this sale is the best time to pick up basics (and items that don't go on sale often) that you know you'll be needing come fall and winter.
Now let's begin!
BP V Neck Pullover | Sale Price: $24.90 {Size XS} - This little sweater is so so cozy! The ribbed material is very soft and the v neck is super flattering! The fit is supposed to be on the looser side and it runs true to size! I would say size down if you want a tighter fit.
Zella Live In High Waist Leggings | Sale Price: $35.90 {Size S} - These leggings fit true to size and their high waist makes them incredibly flattering. The material is really nice and thick and not see through at all! I will be wearing these with all of my knits this fall & winter! There is a little bunching at my ankles but I don't mind that (see pics). I actually wanted them last year but they sold out (at the anniversary sale price!) and I'm so glad they were included this year! You need these, TRUST!
Grey Pullover | Rag & Bone High Waist Skinny Jeans | Lucky Brand Booties (not part of the #nsale)
Rag & Bone High Waist Skinny Jeans | Sale Price: $131.90 {Size 24} - I am typically a size 26 in most jeans but I took Kate's (blogger of Lonestar Southern) advice and went down 2 whole sizes! These are super stretchy and the dark wash is super flattering! I am 5'2 and these fit a little long but that's easily fixed by cuffing them - I cuff most of my jeans anyway!
Socialite Thermal Top | Sale Price: $24.90 {Size XS} - This thermal is the softest thing ever! So soft that I wanted to keep it on all day! It fits oversized just like the grey BP pullover. This will be such a great layering piece for fall! Go ahead and put this in your cart, you'll love it!
Socialite Thermal | Rag & Bone High Waist Skinny Jeans | Lucky Brand Booties (not part of the #nsale)
Other items I ordered but haven't received yet:
BLANKNYC Suede Skirt | Sale Price: $64.90 - This is backordered and won't ship until August but I ordered it in the burgundy color! It will be perfect for fall!! I know that leather isn't very stretchy so I'm hoping that it fits well - I ordered my normal size in this!
Lush V Neck Tee | Sale Price: $15.90 - Lush tees are one of my favorites! And for the price I couldn't resist getting at least one. I ordered it in the light pink color but unfortunately, when my order was processed it was out of stock!
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings | Sale Price $64.90 - I've been on the hunt for a pair of leather look leggings that don't stretch out or get baggy around the knees, and I've heard that these are amazing! They are nearly $100 when they're full price so I had to take advantage of the sale price. I know I will get SO much wear out of these this fall & winter!
I hope this was helpful to those of you that are waiting for public access (opens this Friday the 21st) to shop the Nordstrom anniversary sale.

Thanks for reading!!
When I first saw these beautiful bottles floating around the internet I had to know what they were and where to get my own! I quickly found out that they were shampoo and conditioner custom prepared for your specific hair needs.
You start off by taking a hair quiz where you select the type of hair you have and your hair goals. A little background on my hair: it's wavy/curly, medium thick and dry. For my hair goals I picked hydrate, soothe scalp, anti-frizz, thermal protection, and deep condition. Then you can go on to choose your shampoo and conditioner color - I picked pink, of course! They also let you pick your fragrance (I chose essential oils) and its strength. You get to finish off your formula by giving it a name (How cool is it to have your name on your shampoo bottles!).
They have many size combinations to choose from but since I was just testing it out I went with their smallest, the 8oz bottles for $36. Not too bad considering it's going to be custom created for my hair goals. They offer free shipping and free returns, so that's a plus! The shipping took a lot longer than I expected - about a week.
I've been using my custom shampoo and conditoner now for two months and I love it! Not only is it pretty to look at but it smells so lovely too! The price is higher than I would like but it's going to last me a while. I wash my hair 1-2 times per week, use a generous amount of product and I'm not even halfway through the bottles yet.
Function of beauty shampoo: I love the clean and refreshing scent from the essential oils (mine smells like eucalyptus). It gives my scalp a minty cool feeling that I love while also preventing dandruff. I noticed that it's formulated without sulfates so I was worried it would be watery and not lather well. I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely it lathered. It cleans my hair just enough to not make it feel stripped of its natural oil. It also made my hair feel noticably silkier and smoother.
Function of beauty conditioner: It has the same wonderful eucalyptus scent as the shampoo. It's very creamy and together with the shampoo makes my hair feel softer than before using these products. It's great however I think it could be a tad more moisturizing. Like I mentioned above, my hair is dry and needs all the moisture it can get! But with it being customizable I'm sure I can go into my Function of Beauty account and change up my formula for my next set.
Since this is custom made the product will vary from person to person but I think this product is worth trying out! Let me know if you've tried it before?
P.s. You can get $5 off your order using this link.

Happy Monday, everyone! I'm breaking up my #NSale posts with this striped summer look. This top is hands down one of my favorite tops this summer! You could dress it up with dark denim and heels or make it super casual with cutoff shorts and lace up sandals. I couldn't find the exact one I'm wearing online but I know a lot of stores offer super similar options - I've linked a few in the widgets throughout this post. Another one of my favorites this summer are these Westward Leaning Flower sunnies! They're tortoise print and have mirrored lenses which are perfect for summer! What is one of your summer favorites?
