This was the kind of outfit where I just throw on whatever I can find, while still trying to look presentable, to quickly make it out the door. I have a lot of those days and honestly I think it's fun to see what kind of outfit I can come up with in a short amount of time. I'm loving my new boots from Target (similar here). They're comfy, cute, and make my outfit look put together. Now I just need to find the perfect black ankle boots. Which reminds me, I did some online shopping yesterday and ordered a super gorgeous bag from Forever 21! Can't wait to show you guys! Good night! x
Yesterday I had my last final. I wore black jeans from H&M, oversized sweater from Zara, and boots from Target.
I have picked out a few oversized and blanket-like scarves and capes that would be wonderful for staying warm through the winter months. All of them are from ASOS, a store that I absolutely love! They carry so many great styles and brands at every price. From all of my picks, I am really craving the plaid scarf. It is perfect to add some bright red color to a muted winter outfit.
It hasn't been more than a week and I'm posting again, waaaaah?! I love how lately I have found more time to blog. It's funny because finals are next week and I should probably be studying but that's okay. Taking little breaks from the real world to enjoy doing something you like is a good thing!
Most days all I do is go to class so I like wearing clothes that are comfortable yet make me look put together. Yesterday I wore a loose comfy sweater layered on top of a button up blouse. Today I wore a similar look with a different blouse and sweater. I really like layering because it adds a lot more texture and fun to an otherwise super simple look.
Just a quick little update to say that I am still alive. I have been overwhelmed with homework the past month or so. I decided to take a short little break from all of the school work to do something I enjoy--blogging. I wanted to share some quick little snapshots from the past weeks.

It's supposed to help with:
- high levels of stress & overwhelm
- feeling a lack of support
- anxiety, nervousness, fear, lack of confidence, & nervous about public speaking
- peacefulness & confidence
- strength during times of high stress
I take it to help relax and calm my mind when I'm stressing out over school and right before bed to help me unwind. I place 5 drops under my tongue several times throughout the day(whenever I remember) and I can honestly say I feel more calm and at peace after taking it. It may all just be in my head but either way I'm excited to track my progress. Anddd I just ordered one of their energy mists which I can't wait to receive!! Have you tried anything from Lotus Wei? If so, what did you try and how did you like it?
Roses are my all-time favorite flower because they're so beautiful, they smell wonderful, and are amazing for the skin! I love making my own rosewater but I ran out and really missed using it so when I came across this Gemstone Organic rose hydosol I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did because I absolutely love it! First of all, it smells fantastic, just like a fresh rose! And it's super refreshing, soothing, and helps balance my skin. Plus it has cute little quartz crystals inside- so cool! I think their prices are really great for the quality of the product too. I'm looking forward to trying out more of their products soon. Next I want to try out their helichrysum hydrosol but currently it's sold out.
What I love:
- smells lovely!
- 100% organic and food grade-edible ingredients
- pH balanced and helps with acne

It's Friday! One of my favorite days of the week because it means no classes and less worrying about school work! I ran a few errands earlier and now I changed into a t-shirt and comfy leggings. Now I will go eat and catch up on some tv shows because it's gloomy and rainy outside and there is nothing better to do. :D
I've been getting tons of magazines lately and here I have put them to good use...
Few of the things I love...metallic gold eye shadow, light pink leather jacket, slouchy bags, messy hair...
Bought a new grey basic sweater. It's really soft + loose = perfect!
Went to the movies, the movie wasn't very good but the popcorn was! Almost finished it all myself haha.
I can't stop wearing my faux leather pants from H&M. Love them except I wish I would've bought them in a size smaller because I am constantly having to pull them up. I'll have to keep my eye out for another pair.
These past few days here have been cold and gloomy. I would enjoy these chilly days even more if the sun was shining but that's okay because those days will come. For now all I want to do is cuddle up in my bed and read blogs and sip on some chai tea. Tomorrow I have my last class for the week and on Friday I have a few school things to finish up and after that I will be free to enjoy my weekend...I can't wait!
Today I wore jeans with a burgundy t-shirt, converse, leather jacket, and light scarf.

Cardigans and sweaters are key pieces in my autumn/winter wardrobe so I've been searching for some new ones. These are some of my favorite ones I've found so far, in no particular order.

I have been searching for the perfect foundation and I think I found it! First let me say I don't like wearing foundation and if I do I like it being light-weight. I have always gone for the mineral makeup - I feel it gives a really natural look. I love the 'your skin but better' look and that is exactly what the alima pure satin matte foundation does. Another great thing I love is the ingredients - pure and natural! I decided to go with the foundation sample kit, this way I could find the perfect shade for me. It came with 5 foundation samples, 1 blush sample, a coupon, and a mini kabuki brush which is super soft.
I'm testing out some mineral makeup that I bought last week, so far I'm in love with it! Picture above are the products I like to use when I wear makeup.
Chilly weather this morning called for leather pants! It was maybe not as practical later on in the day as it got hot but hey I'll wear whatever I'm feeling!
I added social media buttons to my blog now! I'm not very good at blog stuff but I really like the look of having all of my social media links in the form of cute little buttons so I had to figure out how to do it. A couple of the sites I just joined so there won't be much on there yet but soon that will change.
My favorite would have to be Instagram! I'm constantly checking it throughout my day, maybe even too much. I'm always looking for new accounts to follow on there so feel free to leave yours in the comments! :D Stylight is super cool too! There is so much outfit inspiration on there, definitely loving that! And if you have any questions you can now ask me on Ask.fm! What is your favorite social media site?

I love this dress! It's black, it's simple, and the cut out in the back is just right. (It's from Target in case you're interested) I wore this to the movies, we went to see Dragon Ball Z Battle of the Gods. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it AT ALL (it's not my kind of movie) but surprisingly I did, it was funny and not too many fighting scenes.
So this was posted a little early, it was supposed to be a draft. Anyways I made this collage mainly centered on those amaziiiing boots and the skirt. The boots have a hidden wedge - totally cool and I also need them for the colder months! And the skirt has an interesting print and colors - its colorful. Or maybe not but I usually wear neutral colors so colorful for me haha.
I meant to post the first half of this post yesterday but I didn't have time to so now its two in one!
What I wore: shirt H&M// shorts Forever 21.
