I've rounded up 7 items featuring some of the biggest trends for spring and summer. One of my favorites is blue & white. This color combo is so fresh and pairs so well with tanned skin! I'm in love with this adorable striped romper! Ruffles are another trend that you can find just about anywhere right now. I love how it adds a feminine touch to any outfit! I have a blue ruffled off the shoulder dress that I've been waiting to wear but haven't because the days have been so rainy and ugly here haha. Who else is tired of this rain?! And the last trend (possibly my most favorite!) that I'm going to talk about today is blush pink. Pink has always been my favorite color and I'm especially loving it in accessories. How gorgeous is this ring to add a pop of color to any outfit!? I've added it my wishlist! I just ordered this bracelet. It's super affordable (under $15!) and I love that it mixes silver and gold.

Topshop top|Topshop pants|Steve Madden sandals|Etsy necklace|Watch
I'm in love with this top! I'm so glad it's Monday so I can finally share it with you all. It is the perfect shade of light yellow. Yellow is such a happy color for me, it reminds me of sunshine and summertime. But this will also make a great layering staple for the cooler months. Picture this with a chunky knit cardi and a pair of booties. The fabric is very beautiful and flowy which I love! It's lined in the front so you don't have to worry about it being see through. But the best part? It's under $50! I might have to grab it in a few other colors too!
Lush dress|Steve Madden sandals|Fossil watch
This dress has it all: cold shoulder, strappy details, lace, and it's blue and white - the perfect spring/summer combo. It's very comfortable and the material is super soft too. The best part is that it's under $60! I kept my accessories very simple. I put on a dainty necklace, gold watch and little tassel bracelet. For shoes I wore my taupe sandals that I love so much. They seriously go with everything and I love that they're so comfortable!
It's been a rainy week here in North Carolina. All I want to do is be lazy and I'm not going to stop myself haha. My plans for the next few hours are to hop in bed with some popcorn and watch some pll.
Have a lovely Wednesday guys!
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great Easter weekend! I know I did! My weekend was spent relaxing, eating, and hanging out with family. I wore this tie dye swing dress to dinner on Friday. We went to Red Robin. I seriously love their fries and their freckled lemonade... Best drink ever! I don't wear dresses often but I love them because they're so easy to wear! Just throw on a cute pair of sandals and you're good to go. But I'm happy to say that my dress collection is growing. Besides this one, I have bought two more blue dresses in the past couple of weeks. And maybe I have a slight blue obsession at the moment haha! I'm also loving this tie dye maxi dress!
Linking up with The J Petite & Mom With Style
Last month I received some Lancome makeup goodies to try out. I've been putting them to the test for a few weeks now and I've found some keepers! A few of these are SO good that I reach for them over my other makeup products! So let's get to the reviews...
Lancome Metallic Lip Lacquer (shade 09)
First up is this beautiful pink lip lacquer! It's described as a metallic pink champagne color. This lip gloss gives your lips a beautiful shimmer! It is slightly sticky but that's also why it lasts longer on the lips. I wear this over my lipstick for added shine or alone and it stays on for hours. Even though I love the color and wear time I don't think it's anything special.

Lancome Click & Glow Highlighting Pen (shade 04)
This highlighting pen is meant to give a natural sun kissed glow. If you're looking for an intense highlight this isn't the product for you. I say this because when you apply it and blend it in it almost disappears from the skin and I feel like I need to apply a lot for an intense glow. But for an everyday natural look it's perfect though! It's one of those products that blends out the best with your fingers. I find it works nicely on small areas like my cupid's bow, nose and brow bone. I don't use this on my cheekbones because it's much easier to use a powder.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer
This is my new favorite concealer! I use it every day and it has completely replaced this one in my makeup routine. The first thing I noticed about this concealer is how thick it was. I thought I would hate it because of this reason. But to my surprise I loved it! One thing to keep in mind is that a little goes a long way! It leaves a sticky feeling behind but that goes away once I set it with powder. My only complaint and why I took off one point is that it takes a lot more effort to blend out. Other than that I'd say give it a try if you have dark circles!

This was the one product I was most excited to try and it didn't disappoint! It's a stick foundation so it's super easy to apply. All you need is a few swipes all across your face for a light to medium coverage. It has a natural matte finish and comes with 15 SPF. I have dry skin and found that this works wonderfully with a damp beauty blender. My only complaint with this is the price compared to the amount of product you get. But I love it so much that I will be buying it once I'm finished with it!

H&M sweater, similar here|Allsaints jacket, similar on sale here |Rue 21 pants, similar here or here|Steve Madden heels|Forever 21 bag, similar under $50 here
Good morning and happy Friday guys! If you're on the hunt for the perfect strappy summer heels then I've got you covered! These heels from Steve Madden come in lots of different colors and are so versatile! They have a chunky heel so they're much easier to walk in. I bought mine in the taupe suede so they would go with all my outfits but the blue suede is soo beautiful too!
It was so windy all day yesterday so it felt a lot cooler than it had been the last few days. You can probably tell from the pictures but my hair was flying everywhere from the wind. I was so happy though because I could get away with wearing my leather jacket and not feel like I was burning up haha. I wore my favorite lace-up knit underneath and paired it with white pants. What do you guys think of this look?
P.s. sorry for the late post guys! Blogger was down for me all morning. But reminds me that I've been wanting to switch to wordpress. Do any of you ladies use wordpress?

I've been hooked on acai bowls for breakfast lately. They are super easy to make and so yummy! Keep reading to learn how to make your own! :)
What You'll Need:
Base
1 acai berry puree packet (I use the sambazon unsweeted packets - found mine at Publix)
1 banana in chunks (frozen works well too!)
a handful of frozen berries
1/4 cup almond milk
a drizzle of honey
Toppings
coconut flakes
granola
berries/banana slices
chia seeds
almond butter
nuts
hemp seeds
goji berries
First I throw in a banana, frozen berries, and almond milk into my blender. Once that is nice and blended I put in the frozen acai in chunks. You'll have to thaw it under hot water first because it's VERY frozen! I also like to drizzle some honey to sweeten it up a little bit. I give it one final blend to make sure my acai base is smooth with no chunks.
Now for the fun part... decorating my acai bowl! First I'll take my bowl and put a thin layer of granola at the bottom and I'll pour the acai over that. Then it's topping time! My top three that I always have to have are granola, coconut flakes, and almond butter! And that's it! Now that summer is approaching I think I'll be making them almost daily... :)
Let me know what your favorite acai/smoothie bowl toppings are!
