I am o b s e s s e d with this lemon top. You guys know polka dots are popping up everywhere this spring and lemons have been a thing for the last couple years so this was a no-brainer. The material is very lightweight and thin but it's not sheer and the fit is good.
For the price, the material is really thick and sturdy. This will be super cute with super high waist jeans/shorts in summer!
This one is very similar to the one above but I like this one more because it's longer and I can wear it more! The material is super soft and I would buy it in every color IF the straps fit me better. The straps are too long and it makes the shirt more low cut (you can't really tell because I pulled it down from the back). I would return it but I don't want to go through that hassle so I will probably figure out how to shorten them a little bit. If you guys have any tips, let me know!

I really love white tops for spring + summer because they look so good against tan skin!
circle straw bag (sold out - similar here)
I am LOVING straw bags right now. I wanted a round one for a while but a lot of them were over $50 and then a friend showed me this one and I had to have it. It sold out online very fast but they might have it in stores. It had a really strong chemical smell and the strap feels a little flimsy but it still cute.
Full post coming soon about these sandals! :)
I'm not really a floral girl but I loved the color and pattern on this. Apparently, I have a thing for tops that tie in the front too haha.
Blue + white look so good together! This top looks amazing with white pants and tan sandals. Add a cute straw bag and you're good to go.

Hey babes! I love to give off a casual, effortless vibe with my outfits so the key for me is to have tons of basics! As a blogger, I sometimes feel the need to be constantly buying new pieces I don't need just to have something new to shoot. But the truth is that can get expensive real quick! Instead, I like to stick with staple pieces that I can wear over and over again but also include a few trendy pieces. So here's my spring closet must-haves for girls who still wanna look cute on a budget!
Spring Closet Staples
- 2-4 pairs of jeans/shorts in different styles so they go with a wide variety of tops. For me, it's a comfy pair of ripped skinny jeans (my fave), a non ripped skinny jean, and a cool pair of high waisted looser fit jeans (these are the best). Pick a good wash - I love a good medium wash because it's easy to style with everything I own. A black pair of jeans is also a staple because they'll be there for you when all your other jeans turn against you haha.
- A few jackets that you can easily throw on when it gets chilly. For me, it's a black leather jacket and a beige lightweight jacket. The beige jacket works so well for daytime and the color goes with just about everything. And the leather jacket looks amazing with a flirty floral dress or with a sexy LBD. Khaki utility/ parka jackets and denim jackets are also a good choice.
- A classic pair of white sneakers, easy to slip on slides/sandals and some kind of heeled sandal.
- Now for the tops. This is where I like to incorporate the trendier pieces. Apart from having a few t-shirts and camis in neutral colors I'll see what's popular on websites like Lulu's and Forever 21 and pick a few pieces that stand out and look cute but can still wear more than once. For example, I just bought this top. I've seen this style of top a lot all over instagram and I wanted to try it so I found it on F21 for just under $10! It's in white so I will have no problem styling it for spring + summer but will layer great for fall. And then there are the exceptions, like this top. I've been obsessed with lemon prints since for the last couple of years because they are so adorable but let's be honest I won't be able to get a lot of wear out of it because it's a much more 'memorable' top. But that's okay sometimes.
Now all I have to do is mix + match to come up with endless combinations. What is one spring trend you really want to try? I would love to try a two piece set like this or this.

Having full, long lashes has been one of my beauty obsessions for years! I always need to add a little mascara or curl to my lashes before stepping out the door. So I decided to try out NEULASH, a lash enhancing serum, to see what it could do to my lashes.
So I started using it at the beginning of January and now we are in the middle of March and I can definitely see a difference already! (But, I must admit, that I thought I would see a bigger difference by now.) I've noticed that my lashes are falling out less, are noticeably longer, and I have new eyelash growth - I've especially noticed this in the inner and outer corners.
As far as application goes, it's super easy to use. You apply it right along the lash line like you would eyeliner. You can use it in the morning before makeup or at night. I put it on at night after I finish with my skincare. I've read reviews where people used it twice a day but on the box, it says that using it more than 1x a day wouldn't speed up results so I just do it once and that way it will last me longer. I bought the smaller size just to try it out and it still feels like it has a lot left in it. I think it will last me at least another full month.
As for side effects, the only thing I've noticed is that the skin right along my lash line has darkened slightly and is sometimes red. Not a huge deal to me but I wanted to let you guys know!

Everyone has different results but I've loved what it's done to my lashes so I'll continue using it. Money saving tip: You can save a little $$$ if you order from Dermstore because you can subscribe and save 15%. I've also seen that a 2 pack of this serum goes on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so that's something to look out for in July.
Have you ever tried a lash serum? If so, how was your experience?
H&M bomber jacket (similar here or here)| GRANA silk cami | HUDSON jeans | AE baseball cap | CONVERSE shoes | leather tote | RUE21 coin necklace (similar here) | RAY-BAN aviator sunglasses
I'm loving sneakers, baseball caps, and sweatshirts at the moment. Really, anything that gives off an effortless, sporty vibe. I was doing some online shopping last week when I came across this pink LA baseball cap. I started thinking up ideas of how I would style it... It would be easy to wear all year long + perfect for bad hair days. Then I noticed it was on sale so I had to have it. I ordered it immediately along with this black leather tote that fits all my life inside haha. I've already worn both the cap and tote so many times.
Here's how I styled my baseball cap for a Sunday stroll downtown with my love... Ripped jeans, silk cami, bomber jacket, white converse, and let's not forget a cool pair of sunnies!

Yesterday over on my instagram I shared 5 beauty products I can't live without. I was inspired by Byrdie. I love their content and they do a segment on youtube where celebrities/makeup artists share just 5 things they love, so here is my take.
My daily beauty look requires a fresh & moisturized base, a hint of foundation to cover up imperfections and scarring, filled in brows, long voluminous lashes, and soft, moisturized lips.
1. MAYBELLINE lash sensational mascara
This has been my go-to mascara for years! It's super affordable and does a great job at giving my lashes tons of volume while still keeping them nice and separated.
2. ELF COSMETICS brow pencil
If you've never tried this eye brow pencil you need to! It's only $2 so even if you don't end up liking it you won't be upset. But if you end up loving it then you'll be saving tons of $$ because we all know how quickly our brow pencils run out.
3. VASELINE lip therapy in pink bubbly
This lip balm moisturizes my lips so well and smells like roses! If you love rose scented products give this a try!
4. THE ORDINARY serum foundation
I placed an order on Deceim's website in January and have been trying out and loving their products since. I love how affordable this foundation is and how lightweight it feels. It's a serum foundation so it's very fluid and looks very natural which I love.
5. CLINIQUE dramatically different moisturizing lotion
I bought my first bottle of this moisturizer a year ago and I just had to repurchase it. It just works. I haven't had to deal with dry patches ever since switching over to this. I like using it at nights and in the mornings. It creates the perfect moisturized base before applying foundation.
