A soft, oversized tunic is the way to go for a movie date. Initially, I half-tucked it into my shorts but there is so much fabric that I decided that I liked the untucked look better. I accessorized with a leather band watch instead of my usual fossil watch for a more casual look and a cute pair os sandals. I went to see The Shallows with my bf. I thought it was good but not what I expected. Actually, I didn't know what it was about I just knew Blake Lively was in it haha. Have any of you seen it? Did you like it?

I'm loving strappy and lace up sandals for the summer. My requirements for the perfect pair: black or nude, no heel, and good quality, but still affordable. So I rounded up a few of my favorites and I ended up ordering one of them. You can check back next week to see which pair I ended up choosing :)

I hope you guys had a good weekend! I spent mine outside enjoying the warmth, grilling food, taking pictures, hanging with family, and working. I wore two of my staples: denim and a tshirt. I'm obsessed with this pair of shorts right now. They're so comfortable and they make me feel cool and laidback, love it!

Hi guys! Recently I found the cutest jewelry at h&m. Wearing a lot of rings isn't usually my thing but right now I'm super into mixing them up and stacking them on. Summer is the perfect season to experiment with and have more fun with jewelry in my opinion. I also found a set of earrings that I had wanted to buy a few weeks back but I didn't and to my surprise they were on sale for $1! I haven't worn earrings in so long! When I was younger I always wore earrings ( I showered and slept in them too!) but then a few years ago I realized that I would always lose one of them so I got disappointed and completely stopped wearing any. But it's time to start wearing them again and if I lose any of these I won't be too sad since they were so inexpensive. 

I remember when I used to title my blog posts using song lyrics. That's kinda what I did today. I've been listening to 'golden light' - madden, 6am on Spotify all day. But there is a hint of golden light in my photos so it kinda goes.. haha :) This outfit was taken last week and it's what I wore to work. Shorts + a light sweater to balance things out. Currently I'm making a list of future blog posts so feel free to suggest any down in the comments!

Dresses are so easy to wear in the summer, especially one that is super basic like this t-shirt dress. If you haven't been able to tell already I'm not super into dresses but I bought this one because I could wear it many different ways and I know it will be my go-to on those hot days when I don't know what to wear. Just the other day I wore it with my white converse and today....well, I wore them with my suede boots because I missed wearing them haha. I have to say that I'm already looking forward to fall!! I'm still going to enjoy this summery weather because I've been waiting for it for a while though :)

A comfy sweater, ripped shorts, and old converse- the perfect combo for a lazy Sunday in my opinion. I spent it out of town doing some shopping, eating good food, and being around my family.

I've been in a really good blogging mood lately so I hope I can continue this into the summer months. I'm just happy with life right now. I'm trying to do things that make me happy and get me closer to my goals every day. And part of what makes me happy is being able to create. That's where this blog comes into play. I love sharing pictures of my personal style and favorite things. I love being inspired and hope to inspire others as well.... okay, enough of my random thoughts I have to wake up early tomorrow.
