This is what I wore earlier this week and as you can see it was a very foggy day! Even though it looked so dark outside I still wanted to take pictures for the blog. They turned out a little out of focus, but I still wanted to show you guys what I wore, I hope you don't mind.
I hope you guys have been having a wonderful end of the year, hopefully spending time with your loved ones relaxing, laughing, and having a good time!

I'm looking forward to the next few days to spend time with family and my boyfriend. I have plans to bake lots of cookies and decorate them, drink hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows, watch movies, eat, talk, and enjoy everyone's company. I'm also looking forward to the end of the year sales! :)
On my list are:
❄ a sparkly sequin skirt
❄ a gold tone watch
❄ thick cozy knits
❄ burgundy wool scarf
❄ leather gloves
Let's see if I will find any of them! ❄

I love those nights when I can just catch up on youtube videos/tv shows and relax under a big warm blanket while eating my favorite ice cream (...and possibly chocolate too because...no self control hehe!) This is also the best time to freshen up my nails.
My love for light colored nail polish this winter continues. Recently I added Essie's 'tuck it in my tux' to my collection. I try to keep my nail polish collection minimal because I hate having too many bottles of unfinished polish! So before I buy one I like to search for reviews and swatches to make sure it's worth adding to my collection haha! This one looks very similar to Essie's 'marshmallow'. It's a beautiful, creamy off-white - I'd say it's the perfect winter white! It does come out a bit streaky but I find that to be a problem among a lot of white polishes and this one is just too pretty so I don't mind. Next color I plan to buy will be Essie's 'fiji' or a deep plum color.
From time to time I get inspired to be a little more creative with my nails and add studs/cute patterns instead of painting them a solid color. This week I was reaching for my favorite nude: Essie's 'sand tropez', when I realized I could easily make them much cuter and festive.
I opted for a very subtle holiday inspired look. I used sand tropez on all the nails then on my ring and index finger I added a coat of e.l.f's 'moonlight'. I also added little gold studs (found on ebay) to the nails that didn't have the shimmery moonlight color because why not? :D I finished it off with Nicole by OPI's 'quick dry top coat'. The final look is super pretty and girly!
What do you think about this nail idea?

A few months back I started the search for a nice pair of suede boots and last week I found them! They met all of my requirements: low heel so they're comfortable to wear every day, black because they will go with everything, and real suede because hopefully they will last longer! You can shop them here or similar styles also from H&M here, here, and here.
In the picture below I'm trying them on so you all can see how they look. Tomorrow I plan to wear them so stay tuned for an outfit post featuring them soon!

I have a different kind of post today. I wanted to share websites/apps that I use/have used to earn gift cards, paypal cash, and other rewards. They all require very little to no effort and they don't take too much time out of my day and that's what I like about them. Just as a reminder, you probably won't earn a lot of money from these, just enough to have a little extra cash every now and then.
WEBSITES
Ebates
This is my current favorite way to earn extra money. I think it might even be the easiest! Basically, you sign up and add their cash back button to your browser. Once you've installed it on your browser the little button notifies you when you're on a shopping website that offers cash back. Before you make your purchase you click on the little button to activate the cash back and then it takes you back to the website you were shopping on so you can complete your purchase. And voila easy money! Also, you can get paid through paypal which is awesome and quick! So far, I've earned about 27 dollars so I definitely recommend you try it. You can sign up here.
Opinion Outpost
This is a survey website where you get points for taking surveys on a variety of different subjects. I used to use it but I don't anymore because some of the surveys I got took longer than I wanted to spend taking a survey. But if you have time to spare this might be for you. You can sign up here.
PHONE APPS
Receipt Hog
In this app you snap a picture of your receipts from stores like target, dollar tree, hobby lobby walmart, etc. Then you will either get awarded coins or spins for each receipt. It takes quite a bit of time and receipts for you to get enough coins to cash out but it's simple enough that I don't mind doing it.
Walmart
This one is easy to use too! You just scan your walmart receipt and wait a few days for the app to find any lower prices from competitors on the items you bought. If they find any lower prices you get the difference and it gets put onto a gift card account that you can use toward future purchases. It's great if you shop at walmart often! I don't, but I still like to have it for when I do since the money I earn on this app tends to be used on trying new mascara / other drugstore makeup.
Shopkick
In this app you can earn gift cards and other rewards by walking into stores and scanning items in stores. I don't use it often since I tend to forget about opening up the app right before I'm about to walk into a store and I get too lazy to search the store for products to scan.
Ellevate
This is the newest app that I've fallen in love with! If you enjoy reading about natural health and beauty tips then this app is for you. Not only do you learn new things from the daily challenges but you also get rewarded with cool products.
Google Opinion Rewards
This is another one of my favorite apps that I use often. In this app you answer short little surveys, they are usually less than 30 seconds long, and you get awarded anywhere from zero to 80 cents per survey. The only thing is you can only use your balance in the google play store. This is great because I get to try out new apps + buy filters from the vsco store haha.
Let me know if you end up trying any of these or if you already use them! :)

My November pick was Roses de ChloĆ© by ChloĆ©. Guys, it smells SO good! It's a very light and fresh rose scent. It's not overpowering at all if I spray it on lightly + it lasts throughout most of the day! I can see myself purchasing the full size once I finish up my sample. I'm excited for my December perfume to get here already! ♥
What's your favorite perfume? Do you have any recommendations for light + fresh perfumes?
You can never go wrong with classics. Throw on your favorite pair of blue jeans and a plaid shirt and you're good to go. A few days ago that's exactly what I did. I added a wool scarf to stay warm and a comfy pair of slip-on sneakers. Super simple just the way I like it!

Over the black Friday weekend I did some shopping online and I found these jeans at Zara. The material is very soft and comfortable - big plus! The color is a basic blue which I was missing from my closet (most of my jeans are black!) and the whole store was 30% off so I went ahead and ordered them. I bought a pair of faux leather pants as well, but I might end up returning those, we will see!
Did any of you score any nice things from the black Friday sales? Let me know below in the comments :)
