I love sharing my tips with you all so today I wanted to show you two of my favorite products to help get rid of stubborn pimples - even the really painful ones that seem to be under the skin! But first, I want to begin by saying that these aren't miracle products and the most important factor for getting clear skin is a healthy & balanced diet.
This stuff is an amazing spot treatment! What stood out to me about this product is the active ingredient: sulfur! Sulfur is a naturally occurring mineral. It gets down into pimples and dries them up while also controlling sebum production to prevent new ones from forming. As soon as I see a pimple forming I use this stuff! I apply it before I go to bed so that it works its magic overnight. It does have a slight smell to it but nothing too overpowering.
It's tinted but the color blends out well and you can always wear it under your foundation if it doesn't match your skin tone.
Now this is my number one secret to getting my skin cleared up! For at least a year I suffered from painful pimples along my cheek/hairline area. It seemed as though they lasted for weeks and when they finally disappeared they would leave a scar and then it would start over again. When I discovered this product on vitacost I had to give it a try. Fast forward to about two weeks into me taking them every single day and I was already beginning to see a difference!
This is my second bottle of this stuff but now I only take it about once a week or even less than that! It completely cleared those stubborn pimples on my cheeks and I'm so grateful to have discovered it!
I hope you all find these tips useful and let me know if you try any them!
Another little tip: Sign up through this link to get $10 off your first purchase from Vitacost!

I can totally wear a knit + jeans + booties in the summer without melting in the heat I thought to myself. Well, kind of. As long as I'm inside I'm fine but as soon as I have to step outside I feel like a sweaty mess... It's totally worth it though if you love what you're wearing. My day consisted of being mostly indoors so I was fine. But now I think I'll go back to wearing lighter clothing and enjoy what we have left of the summer!
Lush tee (for reference I'm wearing size s) // H&M shorts (sold out) similar here // Madewell shoes // Na-kd necklace
I love finding super soft & comfortable basics! The tee I'm wearing is a perfect example of this - it also drapes nicely. Now I just need to find an olive tee, because I'm in love with that color for fall. Another olive green colored item on my wishlist is a bomber jacket. I'm especially loving the satin ones!
I'm off to the gym now. Have a wonderful day guys!

Hi guys! Everything I ordered from the nsale finally arrived this week. I ordered three things: a heather grey v-neck topeck top, a maroon lace-up back top, and black nike shoes. I love how everything looks on! I took some quick photos to show you how they fit along with sizing info. The sale officially opens up to everyone today so definitely shop for your favorites as soon as you can to avoid sold out items. Prices go back up on August 8th.
Lush v-neck tee. I live in basic tees so this is a must have for me. The material is very soft, the quality is great, and the price... well, that's the best part! It's only $15! I would say it's true to size, I'm wearing a size small. It does have a looser fit though so keep that in mind in case you want it to fit more snug.
Lush lace up back tee. This top is adorable! I love the color it is perfect for fall, plus I love how it looks with my skin tone. What drew me to it was the lace-up back though... I'm obsessed with all kinds of lace-up clothing at the moment. Another good thing about this top is the length. It's longer at the back which means it'll pair great with leggings. I went with my usual size small.
Nike Free Tr 6. I have been wanting a pair of Nikes in this style because they are so light! I figured now was the best time to purchase them. I went with the black so they will go with all of my gym clothes and that way I can wear colorful tops. As for sizing, I went with one size larger than I normally wear so my feet won't feel too tight with socks on.
I will be shopping the sale early this morning to hopefully snag a couple of the pieces that I wanted that sold out. I'm hoping they restock! You can take a look at my favorites from the #nsale here in case you missed it. This anorak jacket in olive will be a staple for fall! Bomber jackets will still be super popular for the upcoming season and this one in green will be perfect. This adorable top is in my cart right now after seeing this lovely lady wearing it! Check her out you will love her, she is the sweetest! And I think these topshop pants will be a great alternative to black jeans in the fall and winter.
Hi guys! I thought I would share what came in my influenster bonita vox box that I got in the mail this week. But first, in case you don't already know, influenster is a website where you can sign up to receive boxes of products to try and review. So if you love trying out new products you should go ahead and sign up here.
- Dickinson's witch hazel hydrating toner. I was most excited about this product out of everything in the box. As soon as I got it it went straight to my bathroom counter so I could use it that night. I've only used it twice but I have nothing bad to say about it. It's the final step to make my face feel super clean and refreshed before bed.
- Sinful colors porcelain matte nail polish. My first thought was how pretty the color is. Then once I painted my nails and further inspecting the bottle I realized it was a 'porcelain matte' nail polish. Initially, I hated it because I love shiny polish but it's starting to grow on me. So my final thoughts are it's cool and different but I don't love it.
- Madam C.J Walker pre-wash treatment & conditioning mask. I haven't used this one yet but the deep conditioning mask sounds really nice. My hair can always use extra moisture!
- Fiber one chocolate fudge brownie. I'm saving this brownie in my bag for when I get hungry and need a quick snack on the go but I'm sure I'll love it. I mean how could a chocolate fudge brownie go wrong.
- Revlon ultra hd matte lip sample and coupon. I'm more of a shiny gloss girl but this will be interesting to try!
I hope you guys enjoyed seeing what was in my box and my first thoughts on the products! Have a lovely Thursday! :)
Hi lovelies! I have another outfit to show you guys where I'm experimenting with something I wouldn't typically wear. A crop top! It's a mix of lace and crochet and it's super different from anything else I own. I bought it a few months ago and I hadn't worn it because, well, crop tops aren't my thing (Don't ask me why I bought it haha). But now that I finally got the courage to wear it I paired it with my mid rise white jeans that I can't get enough of! And I wore my leather espadrilles to make it more casual.
On a side note, my first orders from the #nsale arrived today. And I'm IN LOVE with one of the tops I ordered. I'm thinking on purchasing it in more colors. If you missed it, here are my favorites from the nordstrom anniversary sale. So far I've ordered three things from my list. One of the items I wanted is out of stock in my size so I will wait until Thursday. I'll make a post showing you what I bought so stay tuned!
Fossil watch (silver is on sale for less than $100)
Hi guys! I'm wearing my favorite summer dress again. But this time, I paired it with my denim jacket. I've had this jacket for years and right now is my favorite time to wear it. It's cropped so it doesn't look bulky and pairs perfectly with dresses!
If you've been looking for a pair of lace-up sandals similar to the ones I'm wearing but cheaper then I have some good news for you! I was at Target this past weekend and I saw these. They are super cute and look almost identical to the ones I'm wearing! I would've totally picked these up instead had I seen them a few weeks earlier :)

I love thinking of new ways to pair this crochet cardigan. It's not very 'my style' but summer is all about experimenting with new styles and it's also so much fun! You can find how I wore it last time here. The best part is that I didn't need to spend much to give my outfit a boho touch since I found the cardigan at my local Walmart. How awesome is that! I definitely prefer to save on pieces like this one so that I can spend more on basic pieces that I can wear for more than one season.
Enjoy your Saturday guys! xo

The early access to the Nordstrom anniversary started today and I've already found some super cute items! If you didn't sign up for early access it's not too late you can go here to sign up for a card. I personally used my debit card that way I can't overspend. I've selected some of my most favorite items and linked them up so you can shop them too! I wish the items I listed could all come live in my closet but my bank account wouldn't like that so, for now, they will stay in my wishlist. However, a few of them are going to be mine so it will be a happy ending after all! Let me know your favorites in the comments below. :)
By the way, a little tip I use to save even more money is using ebates to shop. You simply sign up here and install the add-on (there's a phone app too!) and before you checkout you click on the ebates add-on and it redirects you back so you can complete your purchase. Right now you can earn 6% cash back on your purchase at Nordstrom! You basically get paid to shop, can't complain about that :D
Happy sale shopping!
There are a few things that have made me look forward to this week. Packages came in the mail, more free time, going to the gym, and the Nordstrom anniversary sale (early access starts July 14th!).
Let's talk about that last one. I'm excited because it will be my first time shopping the #nsale. I made a list of a few fall items I want and I'm hoping I can find one or two good staple pieces during the sale. You can take a peek at the catalog here. I have taken a glance at it more than a few times haha. Some of the things that caught my eye were the shoes, particularly the gym shoes and boots. Are any of you fans of the #nsale? Let me know down below in the comments :)
Right now I'm sitting on the floor in my room typing up this post. I just got back from the gym and now I'm relaxing and re-energizing myself with a berry protein smoothie. Last week I got back into my gym routine and it feels so good. I like going 2-3 times per week and that's good enough for me! Now I will go sit on the couch and continue to read #girlboss on my phone.
Happy Wednesday guys! :)
I went to the mall today on the hunt for cute colorful/printed dresses or tops to add to my closet. I tried on a lot of things but only one thing made it home with me. And it's not even a summery piece but it does have some color. It's light pink! So the mall visit wasn't a complete fail. I can show you what I bought tomorrow.
On a sidenote, I don't know what's gotten into me but I have been so good at uploading/editing/posting outfits on the blog lately. I really love the feeling of having new content on here several times per week. I know I personally enjoy reading other blogs almost daily if I have time. What do you guys think?
