Instead of reaching for my usual favorite black jeans I went with a white pair with ripped knees. I also chose lighter colors for the rest of my outfit for an overall brighter look. I love how the white, cream & taupe look together. This will be my go-to color palette for those dark cold days when all I want to reach for is black!

Good morning lovelies! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I’m
starting off my Monday morning with a delicious cup of hot chocolate, blogging
from my bed, and burning my new candle. My plans for today are to work on a
couple of upcoming posts and take blog photos. I’m also expecting a super
exciting package! It’s something I ordered from the black Friday sales. I didn’t
do a whole lot of shopping but as soon as I receive everything I’ll show you
guys what I got!
This is what I wore Friday morning when I went out to the
stores to see if they had any good deals left. An oversized tunic with faux leather
leggings. This style of leggings looks much cooler than regular ones,
definitely a good staple item. I’m in need of another pair since I wear
them so much. I had no luck finding them in the store and they were sold out in
my size online so I think I’ll order the similar ones I linked above.

This fur vest is so warm and cozy. It shielded me from the cold & windy weather much better than I thought it would. I wore a light silk sweater underneath and that worked perfectly for the chilly 50-degree weather. I carried my wool scarf (I just ordered it in black!) around in my bag with me all day just in case but it wasn't needed. Soon I'll have to start wearing my winter coat. Speaking of which, I need to find myself a new one. I'll add that to my black Friday shopping list. Let me know if you want a post all about what's on my list.

I've rounded up some adorable winter must haves for those cozy nights in and they are all under $50!
1. Prosecco rose candle. This candle sounds so luxurious!
2. Pink & white striped mug. You can never have enough cute mugs for your morning coffee or tea. I really love this one too!
3. Philosophy bubble bath & lotion. These sets are perfect for a night of pampering. They come in many different scents so you are bound to find one for everyone on your shopping list!
4. Little lamb socks. Another thing you can never have enough of - fuzzy socks!
5. Bunny slippers. How adorable are these slippers?! I'm definitely getting them for myself :)
6. Pom pom fuzzy blanket. Soft blankets are a must for cozy nights spent watching netflix. The more the merrier :)
7. Furry eye mask. I can just imagine how soft and warm this must feel over your eyes!

My favorite thing about this vest is how incredibly soft it is. It has been my go-to outerwear piece lately. The weather here hasn't been too cold but it's still too chilly to go without a jacket. I throw it on over all of my long sleeved tops and I'm ready to run out the door. I love that it keeps me warm while helping me look super stylish. If you're thinking about buying a faux fur vest I recommend getting a black one. It will go with just about everything and it's an item you can wear year after year. So you can go right ahead and splurge on one :) Other than the one I'm wearing I also love this one & this one. What do you guys think?
Taupe booties. These are my favorite pair of shoes I own. What I love about them: light taupe suede, low heel, narrow ankle opening, and they go with so much in my closet. I totally recommend them and they're on sale right now!
Glowing skin. My skin is always is always dry, especially in the colder months so I want it to look illuminated and glowy now more than ever. This cc cream has given me just that.
Voluminous & long lashes - this is always a favorite of mine but these are the two mascaras I'm using right now.
Fall candles. Pumpkin pecan waffle is my favorite.
Fall scents everywhere I go. I like using these car scents from b&bw. They're strong and seem to last me a while.
Sparkly clothing. I love all the sequin clothes in stores right now... like these earrings & this tank top (it would look so cute under a leather jacket!)
Morning chai lattes. I use numi tea, almond milk, and stir in some honey.

I keep a little beauty wishlist on the keep app in my phone and I'm always adding in new makeup products or taking some off. I love trying out new beauty products but at the same time I don't want all the clutter that results from that so I try to narrow it down to only the best products from reading reviews. So here's a little look into what's on my wishlist.
Bobbi Brown blush. I've read really good reviews on her blushes and there are so many beautiful pink shades!
T3 whirl styling wand. It's the prettiest styling tool I've ever laid my eyes on. It has interchangeable barrels too so you can buy other barrels for different curl looks.
Balenciaga & Chanel perfume. I'm in the market for a new perfume and these two are at the top of my list!
Tarte concealer. I use the Urban Decay naked skin concealer and I love it but I've read this one is also really good! It's a few dollars cheaper too so if I like it better I would be saving some money :)
Kiehl's creamy eye treatment. I've read lots of good things about this brand and I think this eye cream will be the first product I try from them. This will be really good for the winter months ahead.
Urban Decay makeup setting spray. This is the duo pack of the super loved all nighter setting spray and it's a really good deal. You get two for $39 versus one for $31.

When I went in for my yearly eye exam last month I realized it was time for a new pair of glasses. Warby Parker has always been in the back of my mind for years when thinking about new frames so I ordered a box of my favorite styles to try on at home.
